Comfort Suites Near Texas State University

Great hotel. Super friendly staff and great breakfast. The rooms are very clean and really big. Great price and close to everything.

I was quite pleased with my stay at this hotel. It appears there is some upgrades going on. Some of the furniture in my room looked pretty new. The service was very good. The breakfast was pretty good, for a hotel. The location is convientent. I'd stay again next time I'm in the area.

I had to book a room quickly due to my son throwing up non stop as we were driving to Austin. I pulled right off the highway and into their parking lot. I ran in with my son as my 2 other kids ran behind . The lady at the front desk was amazing! She quickly told us where the bathroom was and helped me get checked into a room so he could lay down in a bed vs a bathroom floor. Check in was super easy. She even offered fresh fruit and water for my other 2 babies while I was tending to my son. Thank you so much for just taking the stress off and allowing everything to run so smoothly. This allowed my son to get better in no time and allowed us to get back on our trip to Austin within a few hours of rest.

1st room had a running toilet, 2nd room had black stuff on corner of bed, 3rd room comfortable, and night desk clerk was very friendly and helpful!

I stayed here last night due to my apartment’s AC going on the fritz in the middle of a heatwave. I was able to quickly book a room last minute and made it to my room less than an hour after calling the hotel to inquire about last minute bookings. The room was comfortable and the bed was huge. AC felt way better than my apartment at the moment. Why 4 stars and not 5? The wifi was a little spotty. Disconnected a few times so I had to use my hotspot. Not a huge deal though, considering this was an emergency situation and I was just glad to have a place to stay the night until my AC hopefully gets fixed today.

People, particularly the desk staff were terrific. Rooms were clean, things worked. My only down mark was the combination of detergent smell and swimming pool musty smell in some of the rooms our party had.

I stayed here and it was a good decent hotel for the price and they have free breakfast and WiFi. It is not located at very good place but it is not too far from the Texas State University. The staff is very friendly and front desk agent Mr. Khan, he has been very good in taking care of requests and giving his 5 star customer service. I was okay staying here for the price for the weekly stay as it was selected by my office staff. Had a good stay and staff was over all great as they always had my room neat and ready. Mr. Khan had taken cared of all of my small needs and wanted to thank him for representing comfort suites face. He is a good man and I appreciated his sincerity. Thank you Mr. Khan and your team for your awesome customer service.

I loved my stay here! I did stay during the week, so the building was very peaceful. I am immunocompromised, so I was worried about the cleanliness of the room. I brought disinfecting wipes, but there was just a small amount of dust. So the room was already very clean! The bed was so comfortable, I am actually on a quest to find a set of the pillows that Choice Hotels use. There's also plenty of places to plug in all your gadgets. The location is also great, minutes from Texas State, restaurants, downtown, and an HEB to stock your mini fridge with plenty of snacks. The staff were so friendly, a rainstorm flooded the parking lot on my departure day, but guests were allowed to stay in the lobby until they felt safe to leave. Definitely get the app and free Choice rewards to get the best deal on your room, better than my AAA discount.
